{Wedding of Ashleigh & Dave}

I cannot be more excited to blog this beautiful wedding!!
It's my first 'WEDDING STREET' referred wedding,
since moving into my new studio at Port Kembla,
and the couple are just the loveliest pair!

Congrats on a gorgeous day A & D
& Thank You for trusting in me to capture it!

The boys had a bit of a 'warm up' drink organised!
So to remind Dave of his position in this relationship,
I bought out my scrabble letters... A= #1, D = #2 !!
So Dave began to get ready...
Keeping an eye on the time...
And a quick snap with the 'lads' before I set off to see Ashleigh.
Ashleigh's make-up was done by Melinda from Unique Make-up Artistry,
who came to the house so Ash & the girls could keep calm and relaxed on this drizzly day..

Ashleigh had a family friend do all the girls hair
and she paid SOOO much attention to detail!
They all looked lovely!
So, now it was time to get ready... the little flower girl
had been busting for this moment all morning... well all year actually!
Ashleigh's Mum looked amazing & was a little teary getting her daughter ready...
Ashleigh's gorgeous dress was perfectly matched by the girls at
Cheboom (also found in 'Wedding Street' Port Kembla),
who bend over backwards to find the perfect dress for your big day.
Both Mum & Dad were so proud of their baby girl
with her sister helping with the finishing touches.
Ashleigh was keen for the cars to arrive to get this day started...
but enjoyed some quiet time with her bridesmaids as the cars were parking.
Now that they had arrived at the gorgeous Uniting Church in Jamberoo,
Ashleigh was showing her real emotions...
hands clasped, deep breathes... this was a very special day!
Dad giving her flowers and having some quiet time outside...
before handing her away, to an adoring onlooker...
who could not take his eyes off her...
and celebrated with a big cheer once the vows & kiss were sealed...
(maybe he was still in a cheering mood after Collingwood
made it into the AFL Grandfinal the night before!!)
The flowers were absolutely elegant, simple and understated -
pulled together by Natalie of Cupertino's.
And this adorable Church, picture perfect.

Ashleigh... you are just RADIANT!!
Once the family photos had been taken at the church,
we took a spin in the Mustang convertable and Limo,
provided by John and his driver from Coastline Limousines Wollongong
who were the ultimate professionals, providing umbrellas and blankets
for the cold and wet bridal party at every stop! Thanks guys!
We stopped along the way for some beautiful shots along this tree lined road,
every branch was bursting with colour, which matched the bouquet's perfectly!

Having the Mustang, the happy couple were keen to
head to Saddleback Mountain for a long drive,
so I arranged with an old friend, Des, to pop up to the Stud.
There is no avoiding the gorgeous old swing, it's an obvious spot,
and we were glad to have some shelter from the trees and old cottage.
(I've wanted a swing on this swing since seeing it years ago
on a Sunday drive home from the Berry markets...
so I was so glad to finally have a couple being married down this way.)
Ashleigh sure looked like she was having fun!!

We headed back to The Grange Golf Club,
to a heated sitting room, copious canapes
& for THE most enormous meal I'd had in ages
& Music by Col got the party started!
Thanks again for an awesome day Ashleigh & Dave & families,
it was an absolute privilege!
And who would know it even rained!!
Thanks for walking through horse paddocks,
over cattle grates, climbing onto the giant swing
and being prepared, on a cold, wet day, to get a little dirty!!
It provided some beautiful images... I have sooo many favourites,
& can't wait to build your album!

{Birthday Bash}

It's not every day you get to witness 4 generations celebrating a big event! Thanks for asking me over to capture a moment in time. I hope you had a lovely day!
